finally i decided to do something about my country.

in indonesia, the previous election system does not rule about people vote for president.
people only vote for a party, then the most voted party will choose their own person as a president.
but starting the next 2004 election, we will have 2 elections at a time, for party and for president.
president in deed is a the most powerful figure in our govermental system.
he/ she decides almost every aspects of the country living.
the fact has said, that indonesia is on the 3rd position of the most corrupted country in the world. that is.
and more than 70 % people living under the poverty line nowadays.
and we, indonesian, really should do something about this.
vote for a president who could say no to corruption, to colussion and nepotism.
and above all those, a president who would listen to what his/ her people say.

if i were asked, am i ashamed being an indonesian? i would say NO for that.
but i am ashamed of the government we have now.
